The South Korean boyband Stray Kids, originally formed by JYP Entertainment through the 2017 reality show bearing the same name, is a powerhouse composed of eight members: Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. Their journey began with the release of their debut EP, Mixtape, in 2018, and since then, there has been no slowing down.
In the subsequent years, Stray Kids achieved remarkable success, securing four number-one spots on the prestigious Billboard 200 chart. The year 2023 marked a pinnacle moment for the group as they clinched an MTV Video Music Award for Best K-Pop and a Billboard Music Award for Top K-Pop Album, the latter bestowed upon their latest record, 5-Star.
In recent good news for fans, going viral. Stray Kids is going to headline a day of BST Hyde Park 2024. The K-pop group will top the bill on Sunday 14th July, with the full line-up still to come. Tickets go on general sale from Monday 12th February at 10 am GMT.
Stray Kids Message For UK Stay’s At BST Hyde Park!
Expressing their anticipation, Stray Kids conveyed a special message to their UK fans, known as STAYs: “To all our UK STAYs – we cannot wait to see you at BST Hyde Park! This is our first time performing at a UK festival, and it is such an honour to play in Hyde Park, where so many legends have played before us. Come dance with us!”
Jim King, the CEO of European Festivals at AEG Presents, also shared his excitement, stating, “We’re so excited to welcome international superstars Stray Kids to BST Hyde Park in July for the first time! We’re honored to bring Stray Kids to the stage in 2024, as this genre only continues to grow from strength to strength.”
Stray Kids will be joining the stellar lineup of previously announced headliners Andrea Bocelli (5 July) and Robbie Williams (6 July), with more acts yet to be revealed. The previous year’s event witnessed electrifying headline performances from artists like P!NK, Take That, Blackpink, Lana Del Rey, and many more, establishing BST Hyde Park as a premier musical extravaganza.
