Marvel Cinematic Universe has officially unveiled the star-studded lineup for its highly anticipated film, “The Fantastic Four.”
Pedro Pascal, known for his roles in “The Mandalorian” and “Narcos,” takes on the iconic role of Reed Richards, also known as Mr. Fantastic. Joining him is Vanessa Kirby, acclaimed for her performances in “The Crown” and “Pieces of a Woman,” portraying Sue Storm, aka the Invisible Woman. Joseph Quinn, recognized for his work in “Stranger Things,” steps into the role of Johnny Storm, the Human Torch. Lastly, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, known for his Emmy-winning role in “The Bear,” embodies Ben Grimm, famously known as the Thing.
In a surprising move, Disney has reshuffled its release schedule, pushing back “The Fantastic Four” to July 25, 2025, while moving up “Thunderbolts” to May 2, 2025. These films are part of a packed Marvel lineup, including “Captain America: Brave New World” and “Blade” in 2025, followed by “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty” in 2026.
As is customary with Marvel, plot details are being kept under wraps. However, fans can expect the classic origin story of the Fantastic Four, a group of astronauts transformed into superheroes after exposure to cosmic rays in space. Reed gains elasticity, Sue gains invisibility and force field manipulation, Johnny gains the power of fire and flight, and Ben transforms into a rock-like creature with immense strength.
