Jin, a beloved member of BTS, recently shared a heartfelt video message marking the countdown to his discharge from the South Korean military. The eldest member of the group, Kim Seok-jin, posted the clip on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Wednesday, accompanied by a brief message.

In the video, Jin is seen holding two small candles shaped like the number 7, symbolizing the dwindling days until his return. With a smile and a thumbs-up, he blows out the candles, signaling the passage of time. The caption accompanying the post reads, “Message from #Jin: Mar 2024,” followed by a translation of Jin’s words: “D-77!! Time flies. Fans of BTS, known as the ARMY, expressed their excitement and longing for Jin’s return in response to the post. During his service, Jin underwent five weeks of basic military training at a front-line boot camp near the border with North Korea, alongside other conscript soldiers.
