The creators of ‘Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint’ (working title) recently released images from the script reading session to give fans a glimpse behind the scenes.
On January 24, the official cast lineup for ‘Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint’ was unveiled. The impressive ensemble includes Lee Min-ho, Ahn Hyo-seop, Chae Soo-bin, Shin Seung-ho, Nana, Park Ho-san, Choi Young-joon, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, and others. Filming commenced in December, signalling the start of this highly anticipated project.
Directed by Kim Byung-woo, the film is an adaptation of a web novel of the same name. The narrative revolves around Kim Dok-ja (Ahn Hyo-seop), whose reality undergoes a radical transformation into the world of a web novel he once read. Yoo Joong-hyuk (Lee Min-ho) takes centre stage as the protagonist. The web novel and its ongoing webtoon adaptation have garnered significant affection from its fan base.
Lee Min-ho In Role Of Central Character
Lee Min-ho assumes the role of Yoo Joong-hyuk, the central character in a fictional web novel that Kim Dok-ja reads. Yoo Joong-hyuk, blessed with good looks and formidable combat skills, is granted multiple opportunities to redo his life after death, surviving in a post-apocalyptic world.

Making his big-screen debut, Ahn Hyo-seop portrays Kim Dok-ja, the only individual privy to the conclusion of the web novel ‘Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World.’ As an ordinary office worker, Kim Dok-ja becomes immersed in Yoo Joong-hyuk’s story, becoming the sole person to complete the web novel.
Within the narrative of the web novel, Kim Dok-ja forges friendships with companions who accompany him on a transformative journey. Chae Soo-bin takes on the role of Yoo Sang-ah, Kim Dok-ja’s colleague, and travel companion in the post-apocalyptic world. She evolves into a pillar of strength for Kim Dok-ja as they navigate a world where survival is a daily struggle.
Shin Seung-ho and Nana are set to portray characters from the web novel that Kim Dok-ja reads, later coming to life. Shin Seung-ho embodies former military soldier Lee Hyun-sung, showcasing formidable defensive skills, while Nana embraces the character of Jung Hee Won, a powerful goddess of justice.
Park Ho-san assumes the role of Gong Pil-doo, a wealthy figure wielding significant influence over people’s lives. Choi Young-joon takes on the character of Han Myung-oh, Kim Dok-ja’s company superior, entangled in unexpected mission scenarios while growing closer to Yoo Sang-ah. Additionally, Jisoo steps into the shoes of Lee Ji-hye, a resilient character who, with remarkable strength, overcomes numerous crises alongside Yoo Joong-hyuk.
