Ram, portraying the role of Lord Shiv, expressed, “Ardhanareshwar, one of Lord Shiv’s powerful avatars, embodies the union with his consort Parvati, symbolizing a form that encompasses both masculinity and femininity. It signifies the balance between the male and female energies in the universe. Lord Shiv, the supreme deity, acknowledges his incompleteness without his counterpart, Shakti.”

“On this auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri and Women’s Day, I reflect on the profound impact of our collective efforts and hope for a deeper appreciation of the role women play in our lives. May our prayers bring us closer to the divine,” he added.

Subha, portraying the role of Goddess Shakti, remarked, “The convergence of Maha Shivratri and Women’s Day signifies the essence of Ardhanareshwar, a potent manifestation of Lord Shiv.”

“It illustrates the integration of masculine and feminine energies (Purusha and Prakriti) and underscores the inseparability of Shakti from Shiv and vice versa. I trust that our show will continue to enlighten viewers as it always has,” she added.

The Shiva saga continues to narrate the universe’s primal love story and is broadcast on Colors TV.
