Lal Salaam Box Office Collection Day 1: Rajinikanth’s Sports Drama Film Has A Slow Start.

Lal Salaam Box Office Collection Day 1:  On its first day at the box office, ‘Lal Salaam,’ helmed by director Aishwarya Rajinikanth, drew more attention for its political themes than its narrative. Despite featuring Rajinikanth in an extended cameo, the film experienced a modest opening.

Lal Salaam Box Office Collection Day 1: Released on February 9, ‘Lal Salaam,’ a Tamil-language sports drama directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth and starring Rajinikanth in a limited role, explores issues of caste oppression and religious bias. Upon its debut, the film garnered mixed reviews, with its box office performance falling below the usual standards associated with Rajinikanth’s films. However, it’s worth noting that Rajinikanth’s appearance in ‘Lal Salaam’ is brief. The film collected Rs 4.30 crore nett on its opening day, as reported by industry tracker Sacnilk.

Lal Salaam Box Office Collection Day 1: Although this marks one of Rajinikanth’s smallest opening days, it’s anticipated that audience turnout will increase over the weekend. ‘Lal Salaam’ features Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in prominent roles, with Rajinikanth making a cameo appearance as Moideen Bhai. The film registered a Tamil occupancy of 30.35 percent overall on Friday, with 38.5 percent in Chennai and 24 percent in Bengaluru. Puducherry recorded the highest occupancy at 39.25 percent.

Lal Salaam Box Office Collection Day 1: After a seven-year break, Aishwarya Rajinikanth returned to the director’s chair with ‘Lal Salaam.’ Rajinikanth‘s last starring role was in the blockbuster ‘Jailer,’ which remains one of his highest-grossing films, earning nearly Rs 50 crore on its opening day. His upcoming projects include ‘Vettaiyan,’ directed by TJ Gnanavel, and the yet-to-be-titled ‘Thalaivar 171,’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
