Sophie Turner Set to Shine in Psychological Thriller 'Trust': A Twisted Tale Unfolds
Sophie Turner has landed a leading role in the upcoming psychological thriller titled “Trust,” set to be directed by Carlson Young and produced by Twisted Pictures, the studio behind the “Saw” franchise.
Republic Pictures has secured the global distribution rights for this project, marking the inaugural film under a multi-picture agreement between Twisted Pictures, headed by Oren Koules, and Republic.
Penned by Gigi Levangie, specific details about the plot are being kept tightly under wraps for now. Miles Koules from Koulest Production will join Oren Koules in producing the film. Executive producers include Dan Heffner and Ketura Kestin from Twisted Pictures, along with Lena Roklin from Luber Roklin Entertainment. Ethan Harari will serve as co-producer.

Sophie Turner, represented by CAA and Independent in the UK, is renowned for her Emmy-nominated role in HBO’s “Game of Thrones.” Her recent works include appearances in HBO’s “The Staircase” and the Netflix feature “Do Revenge.” She’s set to star in ITV’s “Joan,” portraying the infamous English diamond thief Joan Hannington.
Young, known for directing the Amazon rom-com “Upgraded,” will helm “Trust.” Her directorial debut, “Blazing World,” premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2021. She’s represented by WME, Luber Roklin Entertainment, and Greenberg Glusker.
Twisted Pictures, having recently scored success with “Saw X,” which grossed over $100 million globally, is represented by attorney Sarah Santos.
Republic Pictures, resurrected in 2023 as an acquisitions-only label under Paramount Global, boasts an exciting lineup that includes projects like “Azreal,” starring Samara Weaving, and the action film “The Painter,” featuring Jon Voight.
