In a video released on Friday, Princess Catherine, formerly known as Kate Middleton, expressed that it was a ‘huge shock’ for them after enduring an incredibly tough couple of months.

Sending a message of resilience, Kate Middleton shared, “I am well and getting stronger every day.” While the specifics of her cancer treatment have not been disclosed, Kensington Palace affirmed its confidence that the princess will achieve a full recovery.

Princess Catherine (Kate Middleton) disclosed that she underwent abdominal surgery in January, unaware of the cancer until subsequent tests revealed its presence. The medical team has advised her to undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy, as reported by BBC.

Addressing fellow cancer patients, she offered words of encouragement, emphasizing, “You are not alone.” She also appealed for ‘time, space, and privacy’ as she progressed through her treatment, noting Prince William’s efforts to handle the situation ‘privately,’ especially for the sake of their young family.

“Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance too. As is the love, support, and kindness that has been shown by so many of you. It means so much to us both,” she conveyed in the video message.
