London was swept by Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya fever on Thursday night as the beloved Hollywood stars graced the red carpet for the highly anticipated world premiere of Dune: Part Two. Enormous crowds of devoted fans queued for hours to catch a glimpse of them, filling the air with screams as they made their entrance.
Zendaya caused a stir among the crowd as she appeared in a stunning metallic suit, drawing audible gasps from the audience. The release of the long-awaited sequel, originally scheduled for last autumn, was delayed due to the Hollywood actors and writers strikes that plagued the industry for much of the previous year.
“It’s a huge relief to finally release the movie,” director Denis Villeneuve told BBC News, expressing his nervousness until the film’s actual release in cinemas next month. Among the star-studded cast celebrating the launch of the film were Florence Pugh and Austin Butler.

Timothée Chalamet confessed to feeling “a little bit of pressure” given the critical and commercial success of the role. Expressing hope for a third instalment, he said on the red carpet, “I hope so, I hope so.”
While the world of Dune may be complex for those unfamiliar with the books, many fans at the Leicester Square event were primarily there for the stars. “I’m mostly excited to see Timothée Chalamet,” exclaimed one fan, while another eagerly awaited a glimpse of Zendaya.
