Kendal Calling Festival Gears Up for Epic Line-Up with Noel Gallagher and Paolo Nutini Leading the Charge

This year’s Kendal Calling festival is set to be a musical extravaganza with headline performances by Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Paolo Nutini, along with three other stellar acts.

Joining the star-studded roster are The Streets, Paul Heaton featuring guest singer Rianne Downey, and the renowned British rock band Keane. Even former footballer Gary Neville will grace the stage with a DJ set, alongside the talented Tim Burgess.

Taking place from August 1 to 4 at Lowther Deer Park, Kendal Calling promises a weekend of celebration and musical brilliance. Co-founder Andy Smith expressed his excitement, stating, “It is with much joy and excitement we share with you today the biggest Kendal Calling line-up to date. We have the perfect ingredients for a fantastically celebratory weekend. But as ever, the most important ingredient is you – and we can’t wait to see you in the fields.”

The festival boasts over 120 acts this year, including the pop trio Sugababes, who will treat fans to a performance of their hit songs following the reunion of the original band members in 2019.

In addition to the musical lineup, comedians Russell Howard and Paul Smith from Liverpool will keep the crowds entertained. Children’s entertainers Dick & Dom are also set to make a high-energy return with their performance.

Kendal Calling Bound to Create a Big Spectacle for Football Enthusiasts

Football enthusiasts are in for a treat as Gary Neville, a legend of the game, will showcase his musical skills with a DJ set. Tim Burgess expressed his excitement about the collaboration, saying, “I’m very excited about the prospect of DJing with Gary – he’s got great taste in music. The last time we shared a stage was when he joined The Charlatans on guitar. I can’t promise we’ll be doing any songs together, but there might be an impromptu singalong at some point.”

Tickets for Kendal Calling went on sale in August 2023, and organizers report that 60% of the tickets have already been sold. Don’t miss out on this epic festival experience!
