At the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, Jeremy Allen White, renowned for his portrayal of chef Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto in the sandwich-shop drama ‘The Bear,’ clinched the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. Jeremy Allen White, The 32-year-old actor, who had previously secured two Golden Globes and a Screen Actors Guild Award for his role, expressed gratitude in his acceptance speech, acknowledging the support of his cast and crew.

The Television Academy, sharing the news on X (formerly Twitter), congratulated Jeremy Allen White on his historic Emmy nomination and win for ‘The Bear,’ hailing it as a groundbreaking achievement. The award ceremony unfolded at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, originally scheduled for September 2023 but delayed due to Hollywood strikes.

Ebon Moss Bachrach also seized the spotlight, securing the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his performance in ‘The Bear.’ Additionally, the show received the Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series.

‘The Bear,’ a creation of Christopher Storer, is an American comedy-drama television series that premiered on Hulu in June 2022. The storyline follows Jeremy Allen White as a young, award-winning chef navigating the tumultuous kitchen of his late brother’s sandwich shop upon returning to his hometown of Chicago. The ensemble cast includes Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colon-Zayas, Abby Elliott, and Matty Matheson.
