Jennifer Lopez once again graced the stage of Saturday Night Live with two remarkable performances that left the audience in awe.

On February 3, the 54-year-old iconic singer and actress appeared on the renowned NBC sketch comedy show, hosted by Emmy-winning Ayo Edebiri from The Bear. J.Lo showcased two songs from her upcoming ninth studio album, This Is Me… Now.

In her first captivating performance, Jennifer Lopez collaborated with rappers Latto and Redman for a revamped version of “Can’t Get Enough,” the lead single from her forthcoming album. While delivering the breezy, summery track in a chic black-and-white suit, Lopez experienced a minor hair malfunction, pulling out a hair extension mid-performance. The incident, caught by an eagle-eyed viewer on X (formerly Twitter), added an unexpected twist to her flawless dance routine.

Following the hiccup, J.Lo took the stage for her second song, “This Is Me… Now,” introduced by Edebiri. Dressed in a stunning flowery pink gown, this marked Lopez’s fourth appearance as the musical guest on SNL. Her previous appearances include hosting in 2019 and performing in 2010.

The multi-talented artist is currently promoting her upcoming album, This Is Me… Now, scheduled for release on February 16. Described as a “musical experience,” the album serves as a sequel to 2002’s This Is Me… Then. Last month, Lopez released the project’s first single, “Can’t Get Enough,” followed by a remix featuring Latto. Ayo Edebiri recently earned an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in The Bear and also secured a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a television series, musical, or comedy.

In addition to her musical performances, Edebiri appeared in the sketch “Why’d You Say It,” where game show contestants explain unsavory comments left on others’ Instagram posts. During the skit, Edebiri seemingly apologized for remarks made about the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer in 2020 on the Scam Goddess podcast.
