Angelina Jolie Makes a Splash with Bright Blonde Hair at Atelier Jolie Store in New York City

Angelina Jolie is turning heads once again with her latest style transformation.

The 48-year-old actress unveiled her stunning blonde locks during a visit to her Atelier Jolie store in the bustling streets of New York City. Stepping out in a sleek ensemble complemented by lightly tinted sunglasses, Jolie rocked a long black coat paired with a simple white T-shirt, letting her lighter and slightly longer hair flow freely in straight strands.

This isn’t the first time Jolie has experimented with her hair color. She has been gradually lightening her locks for several months, starting with a fresh caramel hue spotted back in June 2023 while enjoying a coffee outing with her son Pax Jolie-Pitt, 20. The transition to blonde began earlier, making its debut in April, just ahead of the launch of Atelier Jolie in May.

Atelier Jolie is more than just a fashion venture for Jolie; it’s a platform for creativity and community. Featuring an atelier offering tailoring and upcycling services, as well as a gallery space for local designers to showcase their artistry, the store represents Angelina Jolie’s vision of nurturing talent and fostering artistic expression.

Empowering Fashion and Community: Angelina Jolie’s Atelier Jolie Vision

Despite her foray into the fashion world, Jolie is quick to clarify that she’s not aiming to become a prominent fashion designer herself. “I don’t want to be a big fashion designer,” she emphasized in an interview with Vogue. “I want to build a house for other people to become that.”

Her commitment to empowering artisans and supporting refugees is evident in every aspect of Atelier Jolie. Situated in a Manhattan property with a rich history, once inhabited by iconic figures like Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, the store also boasts a café featuring cuisine from around the world prepared by refugee chefs.

Jolie attributes much of the store’s success to her children, particularly Pax and daughter Zahara, 19, who played pivotal roles in its launch. However, she’s quick to acknowledge that her family isn’t necessarily known for their fashion-forward tendencies. “I find it slightly funny that we are involved in fashion — I don’t think any one of us is overly ‘fashionable,'” she confessed. “But because we live in our clothes, it is so much a part of who we are, and something that’s important to explore, especially for young people.”

Ultimately, Angelina Jolie sees Atelier Jolie as a place for self-expression and authenticity. “I’ve always wanted to take my family to a place where I can say: ‘Does your clothing really represent you? Absolutely you? And do you love it?’” she mused. “I think the average person would not think it does. But I think tailoring does that for you.”
