Elvish Yadav found himself in the custody of Noida Police this Sunday, linked to the snake venom case, and subsequently brought before the court. The popular YouTuber and winner of Bigg Boss OTT2, Elvish, was summoned by the police for further interrogation concerning the case, ultimately leading to his arrest. A circulating video on social media purportedly captures the moment of his apprehension.
Elvish Yadav’s Alleged Role In Snake Venom Supply Investigation
Among the six individuals implicated under the Wildlife (Protection) Act and Section 120A of the Indian Penal Code for allegedly supplying snake venom for a gathering in Noida’s Sector 51, Elvish Yadav’s name stands. The operation, orchestrated by Maneka Gandhi’s People for Animals, aimed to uncover the illicit use of rare animals. While the other five suspects were promptly apprehended, Elvish’s involvement in the event and his role in procuring snakes for similar occasions were subjects under investigation.
Forensic examination disclosed the presence of cobra and krait venom in samples seized from the party venue. People for Animals initiated a sting operation to unveil the exploitation of endangered animals, enlisting Elvish Yadav due to intelligence suggesting his association with a network engaged in such activities. Allegedly, Elvish facilitated by providing contacts who arranged the snake venom, a practice seemingly depicted in his videos where he posed with snakes.

Throughout the investigation, Elvish Yadav faced multiple rounds of questioning, vehemently denying all accusations leveled against him. The People For Animals’ sting operation at the party venue revealed nine snakes, all with their venom glands extracted, and eight lacking teeth. This incident, dating back to November 3 of the previous year, transpired at a banquet hall in Noida Sector 51, although Elvish himself wasn’t present.
Elvish Yadav’s Controversy With YouTuber Maxtern
In a separate episode, Elvish stirred controversy following the circulation of a video showing him assaulting fellow YouTuber Maxtern, also known as Sagar Thakur. Subsequently, an FIR was lodged against Elvish in Gurugram, prompting him to release a statement elucidating the circumstances surrounding the altercation.
