The Delhi Police has initiated a rape case following allegations made by a former ‘Big Boss 11’ contestant and television actor against her ‘friend’ for an incident that reportedly occurred in a south Delhi flat in 2023, according to an official statement on Wednesday.
The complaint specifies that the purported incident transpired at a Deoli Road flat in 2023, as per the official’s account. “We have filed an FIR under Section 376 (rape) of the Indian Penal Code at Tigri police station against one person. No arrests have been made at this point, and investigative teams have been mobilised to look into the matter,” stated a senior police officer.

The actor, renowned for her appearance on the ‘Bigg Boss 11’ reality show and with a background in modelling and television serials, alleges that she was invited to the accused’s residence, where he provided her with food and drinks. According to sources close to the investigation, she claims that the accused administered a spiked drink and subsequently sexually assaulted her.
Efforts are underway to apprehend the accused, and a formal statement from the police is anticipated. The police have launched an inquiry into the matter to ascertain the facts surrounding the alleged incident.
