According to Mumbai Police, two individuals riding a motorcycle opened fire outside Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy apartment in Bandra, at 5 am on Sunday. The authorities received reports of three rounds being fired outside the apartment complex. According to a report from Lokmat Times, witnesses alleged that the two assailants arrived on a motorcycle, wearing helmets, and began shooting into the air before quickly departing. It remains uncertain whether Salman Khan was present at his residence during the incident.
Investigation Begins
The Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch has arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation. Anand Dubey, a leader from the Shiv Sena (UBT), has responded to the shooting incident outside Salman Khan’s residence. Dubey criticized the government led by Eknath Shinde, stating, “Criminals are roaming around fearlessly.” He expressed concern that people are not feeling secure in Mumbai and Maharashtra, highlighting recent incidents such as the shooting in Mumbai and an MLA being fired upon in Dombivali. Dubey questioned the state of law and order, calling upon the Home Minister and Chief Minister to address the situation. He emphasized the importance of the Home Minister taking note of the incident.
In March of the previous year, Khan’s office received a threatening email, prompting the Mumbai Police to file an FIR against gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar.
