Dunki advance booking: Shah Rukh Khan’s film has already earned Rs 1.24 Cr in advance booking and has sold 33,770 tickets for day 1, despite facing competition from Prabhas’ Salaar. Rajkumar Hirani directs Dunki.

Get ready for the thrill because Shah Rukh Khan is about to bring us his third movie of 2023, Dunki! The film, directed by Rajkumar Hirani and featuring Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal, has already made a whopping ₹1.24 crore in advance bookings, according to sacnilk.com.

On the first day of Dunki’s advance booking, a total of 33,770 tickets were sold for 2,836 Hindi shows. The competition is tough as Dunki clashes with Prabhas’ Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire. The next few days will be crucial to see how Dunki performs on its opening day.

Trade analyst Sumit Kadel shared the excitement on Twitter, saying, “Dunki’s initial pre-sale starts on a remarkable note. If the momentum continues, Dunki will challenge the top films of 2023 in terms of final advance booking.”

In the Dunki vs. Salaar battle, Salaar has also made an impressive ₹1.5 Cr in advance bookings. Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran star in Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel. Salaar will be released on December 22, while Dunki will hit the screens on December 21.

Prithviraj Sukumaran, sharing his thoughts on the clash, said, “I am excited that during the holiday season, you have two giant films, by two giant filmmakers, starring two big stars, and diametrically opposite in every possible parameter like the story and narrative. I am going to be watching both; I can promise you that.”
