Amidst the promotions for his upcoming film, “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,” where he shares the screen with the talented Kriti Sanon, Shahid Kapoor delighted his followers by sharing a lighthearted reel on Instagram.
In the amusing video, Shahid embraced the popular ‘Motta trend,’ playfully imitating aunties who endearingly refer to others as ‘Motta.’ The actor’s impeccable expressions added an extra layer of humour to the clip, prompting a wave of positive reactions from his fans. Shahid, in his caption, humorously referred to the character in the video as his “favourite kinda relative.”
The laughter continued in the comment section, with Shahid’s actor-brother Ishaan Khatter playfully noting, “Johnny Levering 👀,” and Shahid’s mom, the veteran actor Neelima Azeem, expressing her amusement with laughing emojis.
“Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” marks Shahid Kapoor’s first collaboration with Kriti Sanon, where the latter plays the role of Sifra, a robot who falls in love with Shahid’s character, a robot scientist.
Reflecting on his more than two decades in the industry, Shahid Kapoor shared insights into his approach to success. Rejecting the notion of sticking to a formula, he emphasized his inclination towards constant experimentation and avoiding the comfort of clichés. In a candid interview with Bollywood Hungama, Shahid expressed, “I just don’t like doing the same thing again and again. I am fundamentally creative at heart. I wanted to do something new and challenging every time.”
Directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Laxman Utekar. The film, also featuring veteran actor Dharmendra, is set to hit theatres on February 9, promising a unique and engaging cinematic experience.
