Amitabh currently follows 74 people on Instagram, including Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Virat Kohli, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, and Navya Naveli Nanda. On the other hand, Aishwarya seems to keep her followings exclusive, with Abhishek being her only connection on the platform.
The authenticity of these claims is yet to be confirmed, but rumours are adding an air of mystery to the situation. These whispers come just days after the Bachchan family showcased unity at the grand premiere of Agastya Nanda’s debut movie, ‘The Archies,’ in Mumbai. The red carpet event featured the entire family, including Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Aaradhya, Navya Nanda, and Navya’s parents, Nikhil Nanda and Shweta Bachchan, all smiling for the paparazzi.
In a viral video, ‘Mami’ Aishwarya was seen playfully teasing Agastya about the red carpet attention. The video, shared by a paparazzo, captures Aishwarya advising Agastya to get used to the cameras and the spotlight, leaving the entire Bachchan family, especially Abhishek and Aaradhya, in fits of laughter.
On the work front, Aishwarya was last seen in the historical action drama ‘Ponniyin Selvan: II,’ directed by Mani Ratnam. Released in April this year, the film was widely loved. After the release, Abhishek Bachchan praised his wife, suggesting that both Jaya and Aishwarya should consider working together more often.
“It is always emotional. With my father, I am always able to view his work as an actor. With my mother, I can’t. I am a terrible judge of her work because, for me, that’s maa. Like for Aishwarya and Dad, I can look upon their work,” he told Source (Instant Bollywood).
