Gurucharan Singh, famously known for portraying Sodhi in the popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has been missing for a week now, leaving fans and authorities concerned. The latest development in the case reveals that he withdrew Rs 7000 from an ATM in Palam, Delhi, on April 24th, just two days after his disappearance. CCTV footage captured him crossing a road in Palam on April 22nd. Speculations about financial troubles and impending marriage plans have surfaced, adding layers to the mystery.
However, family members have refuted claims about Gurucharan Singh’s marriage plans, stating they are unaware of any such intentions. They expressed bewilderment regarding the origins of these rumors and clarified that Gurucharan’s father is currently unavailable to comment on the situation. Moreover, there has been no concrete information regarding the actor’s financial situation. Gurucharan’s father assured the police that his son was not undergoing any mental distress, deepening the enigma surrounding his disappearance.
Gurucharan Singh’s Search Intensifies: TMKOC Fans and Authorities on High Alert
In efforts to unravel the mystery, the Delhi Police Special Cell paid a visit to Gurucharan Singh’s residence to gather more insights into his whereabouts before his disappearance. The actor was scheduled to board a flight from Delhi to Mumbai on April 22nd but failed to do so. Since then, his phone has remained inactive. A missing person report has been filed, and authorities are actively investigating the case, registering it under section 365 pertaining to abduction.
Meanwhile, Mandar Chandwadkar, who essays the role of Bhide in TMKOC, expressed his concern over Gurucharan’s disappearance. He disclosed that Gurucharan frequently commuted between Delhi and Mumbai and that their last encounter was at a wedding in December. Mandar conveyed his hopes and prayers for Gurucharan’s safe return, highlighting the surprise and worry felt by those who knew him.
