The couple embraced the richness of both their cultures with twin ceremonies – an Anand Karaj ceremony followed by a traditional Sindhi wedding. Reflecting their desire for a bright and cheerful beginning, the ceremonies were scheduled for early evening, setting the tone for a joyous marital journey.
Their journey to matrimony was preceded by joyous pre-wedding festivities starting on February 19, adding to the anticipation and excitement surrounding their union.
Rakul and Jackky made their relationship public on Instagram in October 2021, marking another milestone in their journey together.
Turning to their professional endeavors, Rakul is gearing up for her role in “Indian 2” alongside Kamal Haasan, Bobby Simhaa, and Priya Bhavani Shankar. The film, a sequel to the 1996 hit, promises to captivate audiences with its tale of courage against corruption.
Meanwhile, Jackky awaits the release of his production venture “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Featuring a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Sonakshi Sinha, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, the film is slated to hit theaters on Eid 2024, adding another feather to Jackky’s cap in the world of cinema.
