Filmfare Awards 2024: The vibrant city of Gujarat set the stage for the commencement of the 69th Filmfare Awards 2024 with a spectacular curtain-raiser ceremony on Saturday. Among the highlights of the event was the triumph of Sam Bahadur, who secured accolades in three distinguished technical categories: Best Sound Design, Best Costume Design, and Best Production Design. Aparshakti Khurana and Karishma Tanna, charismatic hosts for the evening, added to the glitz and glamour of the 69th Filmfare Awards Curtain Raiser, where outstanding contributions in technical facets such as cinematography, screenplay, costumes, and editing were acknowledged.
Filmfare Awards 2024: Ganesh Acharya claimed the Best Choreography Award for his exceptional work on the enchanting track ‘What Jhumka?’ from the film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.’ The trophy for Best Editing found its way into the hands of the team behind ’12th Fail,’ while SRK’s magnum opus, ‘Jawan,’ clinched victory in both the Best Special Effects (visual) and Best Action categories.
The film ‘Animal’ received praise, securing honours for Best Background Score. Notably, the Best Sound Design Award was shared between ‘Animal’ and the triumphant ‘Sam Bahadur.’
