Originally hitting theatres on December 21, 2023, Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, proved to be a success, raking in ₹454 crores worldwide, according to Sacnilk.com. Initially slated for a debut on JioCinema, Dunki has now found its home on another OTT giant, Netflix.

Netflix India recently unveiled Dunki OTT arrival on their platform with a vibrant poster on Instagram, heralding its release on Valentine’s Day 2024. The caption teased, “Pack your bags! After a Dunki around the world, @iamsrk is coming home… Dunki, now streaming on Netflix!”

Delving into the heart of immigration issues, Dunki sheds light on the arduous journey many undertake, known as the ‘donkey journey’. Alongside Shah Rukh Khan, the film features a stellar cast including Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Anil Grover, and Vikram Kochhar.

For Shah Rukh Khan, Dunki marked his final release of 2023, following the triumphs of Pathaan and Jawan. Director Rajkumar Hirani expressed his joy about collaborating with Khan, stating, “Shah Rukh liked the story from the beginning… I also wanted to work with him for so long and finally, we worked together and had a lot of fun.
