Dangal Actor Suhani Bhatnagar Dies At 19, Played Young Babita Phogat: Aamir Khan Productions Confirms

Suhani Bhatnagar, known for her role as young Babita Phogat in Aamir Khan’s Dangal, has tragically passed away. Aamir Khan Productions, expressing their sorrow, announced the news on Saturday. As per reports, Suhani Bhatnagar was admitted to a Delhi hospital and was fighting against a prolonged illness. The nature of the illness remains unknown at the moment. According to a report, Suhani Bhatnagar suffered an accident in which her leg was fractured. The painkillers she took during the time of injury had severe side effects on her body and created multiple health complications for the actor.  She will be cremated at the Ajronda crematorium in Sector 15, Faridabad.

In a heartfelt tweet, Aamir Khan Productions expressed their deep sadness at Suhani’s passing, extending condolences to her mother Poojaji and the entire family. They acknowledged her remarkable talent and teamwork, emphasizing her indispensable contribution to Dangal. Suhani will always be remembered as a star in their hearts, may she rest in peace.

Suhani gained prominence for her role in Dangal (2016), where she shared the screen with Aamir Khan, Sakshi Tanwar, and Zaira Wasim. After her role in the film, she appeared in several advertisements. Reports suggest that her death may have been caused by fluid accumulation in her body following a reaction to medication administered after an accident.
