As reported by The Times of India in 2014, during a biking event in Delhi, John couldn’t stop talking about his love for motorcycles. He shared, “You know I should stop now. When it comes to bikes, I can keep talking about them.” Reflecting on his first bike, a Yamaha RD 350, he confessed, “I cried when I sold my first bike. It hurt me a lot.” He had bought it for ₹17,500 from a Parsi guy and, after three years, sold it for ₹21,000. Recounting the moment, he said, “So, you can imagine how I maintained it. When I sold it, I started crying. Because giving away your motorcycle isn’t easy. I was really sad.”

John Abraham Cheers to “Dhak Dhak” and Women Bikers

Recently, John gave a shoutout to “Dhak Dhak,” a film celebrating women bikers. He expressed his love for motorcycles on social media, “I am told that’s exactly the philosophy behind the title Dhak Dhak.” He praised the film for going beyond bikes and celebrating life, urging women to break stereotypes and embrace biking as a lifestyle.
